I can't relate....

Out doing Author -ish last weekend....what an experience. My book was purchased for a group of recovering women. They were going to use the book as a book study to aid in their recovery.

First of all, that alone blessed my heart so.

I was asked to come and share my inspiration for the book; encourage the women; and do what I do.

I am so grateful I got the opportunity to do that. These were some of the strongest women I've ever come across. It takes courage to admit that you are an addict, and voluntarily commit to changing your life. These women had such a pure heart for God. It made me long for that pureness again.

I'll admit, I don't know what it's like to be an addict. I can't relate to being so hooked on a thing that I can't recover. I expressed to the ladies that I would never truly understand. But I do know what its like to have to find yourself again. I do know what its like to be lost. To be lost in things that are totally against who you really are. To be lost in situations that you know are detrimental to your well being, but you do them anyway. I know what that's like. I know what it feels like to receive the most warming hug from another woman that you feel like understands you. I know what its like to be encourage by someone else story, and the hope you feel afterwards.

My time with these women was life changing. They helped me. They helped me believe in God in a way that I haven't before. They helped me see that you can overcome anything with the help of God and Holy Spirit. They helped me feel God's love over and over again. They helped me realize that every waking moment of my life is a blessing and I should live my life like I'm blessed.

"coincidental" (I don't believe in coincidences) the name of this place was "Hannah's Haven". The owner, Ms. Bonnie, speaks about the story of Hannah and how God gave her a chance and grated her the desires of her heart. Ms. Bonnie spoke over life, by inspiration of Holy Spirit. When I tell you, she was carrying Jesus in her pocket! lol..... She blessed my WHOLE life. I am eternally grateful for this experience. If I had one takeaway from this whole experience it would be : Jesus loves us and he see's us. I want you to believe that.

He loves you.

He sees you.

He is interested in you living your best life on earth.

Continue to read the blog and walk through life with me! I am so glad to share this space with you! Know that your words form your life. Speak out loud what God says about you. Walking into the place you prepared with your prayers -all the things God has assigned to you in his will- declare

I AM Blessed !

"For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace" - John 1:26 (ESV)

You go girl!

I love you
